Note: This page and the SlashHack software are currently under heavy construction. A cross-platform reader for Slashdot. Slashhack is written on top of Mozilla, and should run without modification on any platform which Mozilla supports. Several existing desktop application projects on sourceforge.net read the front-page stories from slashdot, or read other bits-and-pieces of the site. Slashhack aims to be a full-featured custom front-end for Slashdot. It will provide navigation and control which is not possible (or very difficult) on a simple web page. Slashhack is written entirely in XUL and Javascript. By using the MPL license, it is fully compatible with Mozilla itself and binary distributions can be created without issue.
